Billie Morgan

Canton – Evelyn “Billie” Winfield Morgan, 92, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home.

Billie was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and a daughter of the late Robert and Hattie Pressley Winfield.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, W.C. Mann; second husband, Hubert Morgan; and her third husband, G. West who died in 1994; a son, Denny Mann; a sister, Myrtle Hill and three brothers, Walter, Fred and Roy Winfield.  Billie was a member of Rocky Face Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Gail Loftis (Kenny) and Diane Holcombe, all of Hickory; two sons, Robert Mann (Linda) and David Mann, all of Canton; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A private funeral service will be held with burial following at Morning Star Community Cemetery.

Due to COVID-19, masks and social distancing will be observed.
