Billy Miller

Waynesville, Billy O'Neal Miller, age 78, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at The Homestead. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, he was a son of the late James and Ada Franklin Miller. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, John Miller; two sisters, Nana Lou Palmer and Betty Fish; niece, Jean Ann Penny and a nephew, Gary Miller. He was a US Army veteran and was employed as an Electrician at Dayco with 28 years of service. Billy had a love for all dogs. He is survived by a brother, Robert Miller of Waynesville; four nieces, Susie Palmer, Linda Rhinehart, Barry Fish all of Waynesville and Sandy Thomas of Rock Hill, South Carolina; three nephews, Bob and Larry Miller of Waynesville and Greg Miller of Brunswick, Georgia; several great nieces and nephews; and two very special children he loved and cared for Jonathan and Felicia Potter both of Waynesville. Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 21, 2012 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Phillip Wyatt officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 5:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
