Billy Worley

Canton- Billy Wayne Worley, age 49, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Gordon Bronson Worley. Billy was a 1984 graduate of Pisgah High School. Bill was employed for years at Ingle's Warehouse in Swannanoa, previously owned his own muffler repair shop in Canton and was currently an employee of HVO (Haywood Vocational Opportunities. Bill will be remembered for his quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. He was loved and will be missed by many. He is survived by his mother, Christine Miller Worley; a daughter, Leah Worley; two sons, Luke and Daniel Worley; and two sisters, Marchetta Hensley and her husband, Jim, and Janet Rickman and her husband, Will, all of Canton. Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Bethel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 3:30 until 5:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
