Blanche Hall

Blanche King Hall, age 80, our dear mother and grandmother went to be with Jesus on Friday, February 11, 2005 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. She was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and the daughter of the late Will and Lura Stines King. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Hall who died in 1963; a great-granddaughter, Cara Noelle Rogers and brothers and sisters, Gus King, Earl King, Clyde King, Laddie King, Elsie Clark, Artie Messer, Kelly King, Ora Jones, Marie Mitchell and Guy King. She was an honorary member of the Beacon of Hope Baptist Church in Whittier. She was a caregiver to the elderly and loved visiting with them and others of unfortunate circumstances. She loved gospel music and playing bingo. She is survived by two sons, Ernest T. Hall and his wife, Joyce of Post Falls, ID and Edward E. Hall and his wife, Wilma of Canton; a sister, Thelma King of Clyde; six grandchildren, Monica Hall, Tiffany Hall, Andrea Rogers and her husband, Scott, Jessie Rogers and her husband, Darrell, Cindy Tolley and her husband, Mark and Tammy Winebarger and her husband, Bobby; ten great-grandchildren, Zachary Caldwell and his wife, Kathy, Lacy Caldwell, Jessica Rogers, Mackenzie Winebarger, Cameron Winebarger, Mikayla Winebarger, Ashley Rogers, Ian Rogers, Aaron Tolley and Adam Tolley and one great-great granddaughter, Lily Simone Caldwell. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 14, 2005 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services with the Reverend David Williams and Preacher Bobby Winebarger officiating. Burial will follow at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery, Newfound Road. The family will receive friends from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence, 1156 Scruggs Circle. Pallbearers will be Scott Rogers, Mark Tolley, Darrell Rogers, Zac Caldwell, Doyle King and Calvin King.
