Bo Burgess

Clyde – Bo Burgess, age 61, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at Carepartners Hospice Solace Center in Asheville. He was a native of Haywood County and the son of the late Gaine and Frances Gibson Burgess. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Brandon Michael Burgess, who passed away in 2013. Bo retired from Dayco with 12years of service and enjoyed working on vehicles. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Kathy Gibson Burgess; two daughters, Chasity Gentry of Waynesville and Michelle McMullen and her husband, Michael, of Clyde; four brothers, Ricky Burgess of Canton, Norman Burgess of Clyde, Bobby Burgess of Canton, and John Ray Burgess of Canton; and seven grandchildren, Luke McMullen, Mattie Gentry, Lynzee McMullen, Blake Gentry, Hayden McMullen, Cameron Burgess and Braxton Burgess. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at North Canton Baptist Church with the Reverend Mark Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow at Fulbright Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Wells Funeral Home of Canton.
