Bobbie Willis, born June 6, 1914, formerly of North Main Street died Thursday, May 19, 2005 at Britthaven Nursing Home in Franklin. She was a native of Haywood County and the daughter of the late Jesse Edward and Bertie Lee Hipps Willis. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Aaron and Amos Willis. She retired from Champion International after 40 years of service. She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and was presented �This Is Your Life by the Church� in recognition of her loving service to the church youth. She is survived by two sisters-in-laws, Mariam Willis and Virginia Willis, three nephews, Edward, Kenneth, and Richard Willis, and a niece Peggy Greenstreet, several great � nephews, nieces and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with the Reverend Phillip Hurst officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 pm Monday at Wells Funeral Homes and Cremation Services of Canton.
