Bobby Heatherly

Canton – Bobby Heatherly, age, 82, of the Cruso community passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015 at the Homestead. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, he was the son of the late James and Ethel Norris Heatherly. He retired from American Enka Corporation with 31 years of service and was a member of Pisgah Free Will Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Beverly Miller Heatherly; two daughters, Patricia Ann Rhinehart and her husband, Reverend Steve Rhinehart, of Weaverville and Pamala Joy Wells and her husband, Steve, of Canton; two sons, Daniel Lee Heatherly of Canton and Ronald Dean Heatherly and his wife, Kathy, of Clyde; a brother, Billy Jack Heatherly of Louisville, Kentucky; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Steve Rhinehart officiating. Burial will follow at New Cruso Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
