Bobby Rich

Waynesville-Bobby William Rich, age 74, of 1505 Goldrock Trail, passed away on Wednesday, November 01, 2005. A native of Jackson County, NC, he was the son of Pink and Francis Jordan Rich. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Jessie Rich. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a welder. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Helen Rich; two daughters, Anita Gulliford and her husband, Al, of Dayton, OH and Sharon Greene and her husband, Charles, of Richmond, VA; three sons, William Dale Rich of Richmond, VA, Rickey Rich and his wife, Sheila, of Dayton, OH, and Curtis Rich of Maiden, NC; two sisters, Louise McLemore and her husband, Jack, of Candler and Jannette Mack and her husband, Roy, of Hickory, NC; one brother, James Rich and wife, Shirley, of Maiden, NC; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 4, 2005 in the chapel of Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville with Reverend Ricky Mason officiating. Burial will follow at Rich Cemetery in Maggie Valley. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening at the funeral home.
