Bobby Worley

Asheville – Bobby Roy Worley, age 70, died Friday, June 20, 2008, at his residence. He was a son of the late Angus and Hettie Parham Worley and was preceded in death by a son, Tony Bryant; two sisters, Barbara Jean Barr and Betty Lois Worley; and a brother, Angus Worley Jr. He was a retired electrician with Milkco Inc. Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Annie Fay Overman Worley; one son, Dan Bryant of Greenville, SC; two daughters, Debra Worley, and Bertha Faye Yates and her husband, Mark, all of Asheville; one brother, Jerry Worley of Canton; seven grandchildren; Carly Matthews, Chantel Bryant, Annie Fish, Kara Singleton, Tiffany and Joshua Yates, and Daniel Bryant; and four great-grandchildren; Christian, Ty, Jackson, and Adian Blake. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2008, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Jason Woon officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
