Bonnie Green

March 18, 1937 — May 25, 2004

Waynesville-Bonnie Page Green, age 67, of 221 Page Road, died Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at her residence. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Julie Williams Page. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Willard Green, who died in 1988; a son, Charles "Bub" Green; a sister, Betty Edwards; and two brothers, Ulas and Willie Page. She worked in the Mountain Projects Senior Citizens Companion Program. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, flower gardening, cooking, and canning. She is survived by three daughters, Brenda Moore, and her husband, Terry, of Sylva, Nancy Martin and her husband, David, of Canton, and Wanda Creasman and her husband, Gerald, of Waynesville; a brother, Fred Page, of Gastonia; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 28, 2004 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services with Reverend O.J. Skidmore officiating. Burial will follow at Log Cabin Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Serving as pallbearers will be Raymond Cagle, Stan Williams, Dennis Cash, John Page, Terry Green, and Robert Stockley.
