Bonnie Mease

Bonnie Nell Boydston Mease-88, died Wednesday, April 9, 2003 at Asheville Healthcare in Swannanoa.

She was a native of Dade Co., GA and was a daughter of the late Denton and Daisy Burkhart Boydston. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Mease, who died in 1980 and a sister, Ruth Roberts, who died in 2002. She was employed by the Canton YMCA and was a member of Canton Central United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol Haley of Canton and Cindy Pressley of Black Mountain, two sisters, Reva Wright and Maude Evans, both of Canton, 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be on Monday, April 14, 2003, at 1:30 at the Long's Community Cemetery with the Reverend Michael Gehring officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Monday prior to the service at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes. .
