Bonnie Pless

Waynesville, Bonnie Dollie Noland Pless, age 93, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Autumn Care Nursing Home. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of Dock John and Mora Rogers Noland. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Eula Allison and Lillian Morrow and three brothers, Orville, Earnest, and Roger Noland. She was employed by Dayco Corporation and a member of First Baptist Church of Waynesville. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends whom she loved with all her heart. She is survived by two daughters, Aulby Ferguson and Clara Crawford and her husband, Johnnie, of Waynesville; three grandsons, Randy Ferguson, Tim Ferguson and his wife, Lisa, both of Waynesville, and Gary Crawford of Winston-Salem; two great grandsons, Bryan and Andrew Ferguson; special friends, Peggy Buchanan and Ella Mae Grasty; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2009 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Robert Prince officiating. Burial will follow at Crabtree Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Billy and Neal Allison, Buddy and David Noland, and Perry and Will Morrow. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
