Bonnie Rich

Waynesville, Bonnie Mae Ledford Rich, age 60, of Maple Knoll Circle, died on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at Canton Christian Convalescent Center. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter the late Odell Rogers, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Pete" Rich and a brother, Darrell Messer. Bonnie enjoyed cleaning the house, gardening, and her flowers. She also loved spending time with her grandchild. She is survived by her mother, Bobbie Ledford and her husband, Leroy, of Waynesville; one son, Robbie G. Rich, of Waynesville; one daughter, Michelle Rich and her husband, Gordy, of Maggie Valley; one sister, Eyvonne Rich and her husband, Tommy, of Clyde; one brother, Kenneth Messer and his wife, Dianna, of Clyde; one grandson; Tyler Rich; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening at WELLS FUNERAL HOME OF CANTON and at other times, at the home of Kenneth Messer, 100 Keith St., (Green Acres Development) Clyde.
