Bruce Sutton

Bruce K. Sutton, 86, of Canton, passed away Saturday, December 17th in Waynesville. A native of Bryson City, he was a son of the late John Lewis Sutton and Mollie Holden Sutton. Bruce served his country in the Army and was a member of the Canton VFW Post #5198.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Viola Marie Payne Sutton and daughter, Patsy Marie Sutton.
He is survived by his son, Kenneth L. Sutton of Acworth, GA; daughter, Wanda Carver of Douglasville, GA; grandchildren, Jeff Sutton of Acworth, GA, Sharon Turner of Newnan, GA, Nancy Shelton of Canton, NC and Ashley Carver of Douglasville, GA and great-grandchildren, Trinity Marie and Ethan Lynn Sutton of Acworth, GA.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 21st at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Faith at Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn with the family receiving friends 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
