Bruce Trull

Bruce Landon Trull, age 75, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014 at Mission Hospitals – Memorial Campus. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Doyce William and Edna Harrell Trull. He was owner and operator of Trull Lumber Company and a member of Pole Creek Baptist Church. Bruce was a simple man who loved the outdoors and was a hard worker. He enjoyed visiting the stockyard and you could always find him working on his saw mill, farm, or out on his tractor. He dearly loved all of his family and will be remembered for always being a true friend and one who never met a stranger. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Anna Laura Trull; two sons, Randy Trull and his wife, Cindy, and Keith Trull and his wife, Carla, all of Candler; a sister, Irene Crabtree and her husband, Jim, of Candler; four grandchildren, Amber Trull of Leicester; Zachary, Jordan and Cooper Trull all of Candler; two step grandchildren; Aubrey and Alyse Childress of Brevard; two great-grandchildren; Ezra and Havilynd; a niece, Marcia Crabtree; and a nephew, Jimmy Crabtree. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Pole Creek Baptist Church with the Reverend Dennis Thurman and Reverend Kevin Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Snow Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Pole Creek Baptist Church.
