Bula Davis

Canton, Bula Wilson Davis, age 69, of Penny Lane died Saturday, December 04, 2004 at her residence. She was a native of Buncombe County and the daughter of the late Thomas G. and Harriett Hensley Wilson. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Burnette and Bernice Roberts and two brothers, Thomas and David Wilson. She retired from Square D with 25 years of service. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and a member of the Weavers. In addition to her husband of 52 years, Getter Clyde Davis of Canton, she is survived by two daughters, Deborah Davis Wells and her husband, Gary of Canton and Lynn Davis Lahm and her husband, Richard of Dallas, NC and four grandchildren, Andrew and Aaron Wells and Kristen and Kaitlyn Lahm. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at Bethel Baptist Church with the Reverend Roy Kilby officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services of Canton where the body will remain until placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
