Cage A. McCoy
Canton-Cage Allie McCoy-80, died Thursday, October 24, 2002 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

He was a native of Haywood County and was the son of the late Fred and Callie Galloway McCoy. He was also preceded in death by a son, Denny Philip McCoy who died in 2001. He retired from Dayco Corp. with 43 years of service as a foreman in the textile dept. Mr. McCoy was a member of the Living Church of Jesus Christ.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nora Haney McCoy, one daughter, Gloria A. McCoy of Black Mountain, one son, Dale McCoy and his wife Carolyn of Canton, two sisters, Fina McCoy of Orange Co., CA, Genevieve Harelson of Espanola, NM, 3 grandchildren, Roger McCoy, Jr., Michelle McCoy and Michael McCoy.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2002 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes with Reverend Donnie Meetze officiating. Burial will follow at Gwyn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Saturday prior to service at the funeral home.
