Waynesville�Candy Yvonne Seay, age 49, of 1145 Coleman Mountain Road, died Friday, April 16, 2004 at the home of her sister. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of Phoebe Bailey Seay and the late W. L. Seay, Jr. She was employed in the Accounts Receivable Department at Midway Medical Center. She was a 1972 graduate of Pisgah High School. She worked at Dayco for 17 years before graduating from Haywood Community College with a degree in Administrative Office Technology. She owned and operated Fishin Fever Bait and Tackle in Surgoinsville, Tennessee where she became a very skilled flytier. She loved to fish as well as quilt, cross stitch, and crochet. She was a member of Good Samaritan Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sisters, Reta Miller, and her husband, Dean, of Waynesville and Carolyn Cannon and her husband, Paul of Clyde; two brothers, Doug Seay and his wife, Barbara, of Clyde and Gene Seay and his wife, Barbara, of Marshville, NC; and several nieces, nephews; and great nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her faithful little companion ''Scooter.'' Funeral services will be held at Good Samaritan Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 2004 with Reverend Bobby Downs and Reverend Joe Stroud officiating. Burial will follow at Fincher's Chapel in Clyde. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Wells Funeral Homes and Cremation Services of Waynesville. The pallbearers will be Charles Henson, Jeff Seay, Billy Warren, James Griffin, Ronnie Farmer, and Lyndon Smathers.
