Carl Bryant

Waynesville, Carl Truman Bryant, 79, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. A native of Haywood County, Carl was the son of the late Dexter and Inez Banks Bryant. He is also proceeded in death by a sister, Jacquelene Bryant; three brothers, Dexter, Jr, James and Richard Bryant.

Carl was employed by Harrah’s Cherokee Casino. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf. He was very talented in playing instruments and played several different ones.

Left to cherish his memories are his two daughters, Rashida Bryant and Aisha Bryant along with one brother, Thomas “Boogie” Bryant and several nieces, nephews and friends. 

A homegoing will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. A repass will follow at Wells Event and Reception Center.
