Carl Shaffer, 58 passed away on Thursday January 27, 2011 after a short illness. He was a lifetime resident of Buncombe County , born on November 30, 1952 in Spruce Pine, NC. He is survived by his parents Peter and Perry Shaffer, sister Cynthia Shaffer, daughter Michele Kriezel, husband Jeff Kriezel & 2 grandsons Skyler & Keaton Kriezel. A memorial service will be held on February 5, 2011 at 2pm at St. George's Episcopal Church. In lieu if flowers, memorials may be sent to Care Partners Hospice P.O. Box 25338 Asheville, NC 28813.
