Carl Storie

Carl T. Storie, 67, of Candler, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2011. A native of Avery County, NC, he was a son of the late Prophet and Eudee Storie Hicks. Carl was a life-long Tarheels fan and loved to fish.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bette; brother, Thomas Hicks and daughter-in-law, Jill Hoffman Storie.
He is survived by his children, Carl Wayne Storie, Becki Cooper and husband, Ricky, and John Storie and wife, Kim; grandchildren, Jason James Storie, Mitchell, Austin and Zachary Storie, Twanna and Tia Cooper, Carl Wayne 'CJ' Storie, Jr., Matthew and Jason Storie and 3 great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, June 2nd at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
