Canton – Carmen Thomas Stiles, 48, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and was preceded in death by her father, Rodney Thomas and a brother, Tony Thomas. Carmen was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, crafting and clipping coupons.
She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Kenneth E. Stiles; one daughter, Jamie Bogaert of Asheville; four sons, Michael Elkins, Jordan and Chris Rogers, all of Canton, and Zackery Stiles of Brevard; her Mother and Pop, Jessie and Harry Clark of Canton; Maw, Sandra Thomas of Washington; one sister, Lynda Walski of New Mexico; two brothers, Dewayne Clark of South Carolina and Jabin Brady of Florida; and three grandchildren, Jadeyn, Brayden and Nora; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Faith Missionary Baptist Church with the Reverend Mark Edwards, Reverend Tom Shook and Reverend Tony Galloway officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
