Carol Singleton

Carol Jeane Singleton, age 55, of Viewmont Drive died Saturday, May 9, 2009 at her residence. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Virgil C. and Virginia Moore Singleton. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Singleton. Carol was previously employed by Tuscola High School where she taught English for four years. She enjoyed writing poetry, reading, and watching the steeplechase. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by a uncle, Shay Blaylock of Bethel, several cousins, Doug Blaylock and his wife, Vicki, of Canton, Virginia "Ninno" Trull and her husband, Charles, of Cruso; three very special friends, Helen Neal, Todd Johnson and Sandy Sprinkle; and her cat, "Della". Private services will be held at a later date.
