Carolyn "Grunna"

Waynesville-Carolyn Dee Beasley Sutton, 60, of 224 Yates Cove Road, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2006 at her home. A native of Haywood County, daughter of Irene Inman Beasley, of Waynesville, and the late Robert Graham Beasley. In addition to her father, she is also preceded in death by one sister, Catherine Smith; two brothers, Buddy Beasley , and Bill Beasley. She had an Associated Degree in Nursing and had worked as a LPN. She was employed by Dayco for 27 ½ years where she worked as Plastics Inspector. She was a member of Maggie Valley First Baptist Church. She was survived by her Husband of 38 years, Jess Sutton, Jr; one son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Chanda Sutton, both of Waynesville; three grandchildren, who where the lights of her life, Dylan Riddle, Carlee and Payden Sutton, several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Her life revolved around the love she had for her grandchildren and being the best "Grunna" she could be. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at the Maggie Valley First Baptist Church with Reverend Ricky Mason officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday at Wells funeral Home in Waynesville.
