Carolyn Moll Gillio Tennefoss, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native of Wells, Minnesota, she was the daughter of the late, William and Antonia Augst Moll. She lived most of her life in Sunnyvale and Santa Cruz, California and spent the last ten years of her life in Asheville, North Carolina enjoying her retirement. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Frank Gillio, her third husband, Marvin H. Tennefoss who died in 2012; and two brothers, Marvin and Donald Moll. Carolyn lived life to the fullest! She began her career as a clinical social worker during a time when it was uncommon to see women entering the workforce. Carolyn then went on to have a very successful career as a private practice psychotherapist. She loved to travel across the world and was successful in her many endeavors. She enjoyed close friends including robust bridge groups and was a successful planner and hostess of many wonderful events. Carolyn was the glue that held her family together and will be greatly missed by them all. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Nativity. She is survived by her children, Paula Stenz of Vacaville, California, Mark Padilla of Newport News, Virginia, and Julie Morley and her husband, Tim, of Victor, Idaho. She is also survived by Cesar Padilla of Boulder Creek, California; the father of her children; a brother, Robert Moll and his wife, Susan of California; nine grandchildren, Erica and Michelle Stenz, Michael Saporito, Marshall and Sophie Padilla, Genavieve, Eva, and Jack Pain, and Cole Morley; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2014 at the Lutheran Church of the Nativity. Following the service will be a luncheon. An additional memorial service will be held in October in Santa Cruz, California, arranged by Mrs. Julie Morley. Memorials may be made to CarePartners Hospice Memorial Fund, P.O.
