Carroll Trull

Canton – Carroll Trull, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2014. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Edd and Elsie Rogers Trull. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Mae Woodard Trull, who died in 2009. Carroll was a WWII United States Navy veteran having served in the Pacific Theater. Carroll retired from Champion International with 20 years service and attended Dutch Cove Baptist Church. He is survived by three daughters, Nancy Driver and her husband, Watty, of Cherokee, NC, Sherry Lambert and husband, Scott, of Smyrna, Georgia; and Bobbie Sue Krenke and her husband, Greg, of Panama City, Florida; two stepdaughters, Patricia Shipman and her husband, G.L., of Canton and Sandy Case and husband, Ronald, of Etowah, NC a son, Dennis Trull, of Canton; one stepson, Buford Cook and his wife, Joyce, of Canton; two sisters, Ruth Young and Ruby Thomason; two brothers, William Edward Trull of Canton and James Wayne Trull of Candler; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2014 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Jason Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. Military Honors will be conducted by the U.S. Navy. The family will receive friends from 12:45 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
