Waynesville-Catherine Kinsolving Randall Beaty, passed away on February 23, 2006 Beloved wife of the late John Thurston Beaty, M.D. Moved to Walker-in-the-Hills area of Waynesville in 1990. Past Board member of Haywood County Art's Council, Haywood Community College Foundation and member and officer of the Waynesville Garden Club. Served as president for two years of the Waynesville Council of Garden Clubs. Born in Cincinnati, OH on June 13, 1928 to Mildred Kinsolving and Herbert Thomson Randall. Great-granddaughter of Peter Gibson Thomson, founder of the Champion Paper & Fibre Co. of Hamilton later Champion International). Niece of Reuben B. Robertson, Sr. of Canton, NC. Devoted mother of William Edwin Hilson of New Canaan, CT, Dwight Randall Hilson of Greenwich, CT and Melissa Hilson Parker of Point Manalapan, FL. Adoring grandmother of Maximilian Parker, Derek Parker, Beau Parker, Emlyn Hilson and Samantha Hilson. Cherished sister of Marybelle Randall Harris Rawlings of Ligonier, PA. Loving stepdaughter of Olive S. Randall of Hamilton, Ohio. Services at Grace Church of the Mountains, 394 North Haywood Street, Waynesville, NC on Saturday, March 4, at 12:00 noon.
