Chad Moore

Asheville/Waynesville, Chad Forrest Moore, age 43, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021, at a Greenville, SC Hospital.

A native of Haywood County, he was a son of the late Brenes Eugene and Mary Ruth Norris Moore.  Chad was a gentle and kind soul who was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and family.  He was deeply loved and will be so very missed.  The thing that brought Chad the most joy in life were his children. He served his country proudly as a United States Marine for close to 8 years. Chad was also a University of Tennessee football fan and claimed that his blood ran orange.

Chad is preceded in death by his daughter, Alexandria and his sister, Emilie.

Chad is survived by his sons, Tristin, Alarak, and Sebastian; as well as his brother, Lane.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior at the funeral home.  Military rites will be provided following the service at Green Hill Cemetery.

The care of Mr. Moore has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes of Waynesville.
