Charles Brooks

Leicester – Charles Junior Brooks, age 69, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2015 at his residence. A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Thomas Henry and Mollie Ledbetter Brooks. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers. Charles is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann Clontz Brooks; a daughter, Cathy Brooks of Alexander, NC; two brothers, Tommie Lee and Billy Brooks both of Leicester and a granddaughter, Anna Shelton. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2015 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Bryan Rhodarmer officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
