Charles Hall

Charles Hammond Hall, Sr., 83, of Morganton, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2013. He was born in Sault Saint Marie, MI to the late James and Ida Mae Waybrant Hall. Charles had been a member of the Asheville North and Morganton Seventh Day Adventist Churches, the Buncombe County Genealogical Society and an active participant with Harvest House. He was an avid beekeeper, genealogist and craftsman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Brian Hammond Hall and sisters, Mabel Holt and Lola Gaudreau.
Charles is survived by his wife, Sheila Langford Hall; children, Pamela Morris, James Hall, Shannon Egan, Kelly Patton, Stacee Peterson and Charles Hall, Jr. and their spouses; brother, James Paul Hall; 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and many friends that benefitted from his kindness.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Faith of Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn on Saturday, July 6th from 6-8PM. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 7th at the Asheville North Seventh-Day Adventist Church with Pastor Barry Mahorney officiating.
