Charles Robinson

Waynesville, Charles Lee Robinson, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Chestnut Park Drive. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of Dwayne and Lou Ellen Miller Robinson. He was a graduate of Waynesville Township High School. He was a truck driver for Wellco for 20 years and retired in 1997 from WNC Paving where he also drove a truck for 16 years. Charles loved woodworking, dancing, and working in his yard. He is survived by two sisters, Mae Bell Parham and Louise Cochran of Waynesville; one brother, Robert Robinson and his wife, Cinda, of Sumter, South Carolina; and a very special friend, Peggie Williams Tyler of Waynesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 4, 2011 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Lolley officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
