Charles Medford

Canton, Charles D. Medford, age 46, of Pond Wood Point, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at his home. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, he was the son of Johnny Rich and the late Faye Gaddis and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Fred Medford. Charles loved being outdoors, fishing, writing poetry, and spending time with his dogs. In addition to his father, he is survived by his stepfather, Doyle "Doc" Brown, of Canton; one sister, Cynthia Moore and her husband, Donald, of Canton; nieces and nephew, Danielle and Clayton Moore and Amanda Medford; and a companion, Althea Osterheldt, of Canton.
