Charles Neal

Charles Edward Neal, age 77, of the Reed Cove community passed away early Tuesday morning, July 22, 2014 at his home in the arms of his special love, Cindy Dixon-Owen. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Thomas Norris and Callie Kimsey Neal. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Gale Morrow Neal who died in 1997. Charles was a United States Marine Corps veteran. In addition to Cindy, he is survived by two sisters, Nell Thompson of Asheville and Alice Donaldson of Waynesville; a brother, Thomas "Bill" Willis Neal and his wife, Ruby, of Franklin; several nieces and nephews, and his beloved Chiuahuah, "Misty". At his request, no services are planned.
