Clyde - Charles Russell Trull, age 41, of 396 Mulberry Street died Thursday, January 25, 2007 at St. Josephs Hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and the son of Ralph Trull of Clyde and the late Margaret Stewart Trull. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Cathy James. He was employed with Milkco, Inc. for seven years as an office assistant and was a member of Dellwood Baptist Church. Rusty was a well known local disc jockey and was the last person to sign off WWIT in Canton when it closed. His life was centered on the love he had for his children, wife and family and his passion for music. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife of 20 years, Dana Smith Trull of Clyde, two daughters, Danelle and Amy Trull; a son, Casey Trull, all of Clyde; a brother, Reverend Eddie Trull and his wife, June, of Franklin and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2007, at Dellwood Baptist Church with the Reverend Tracy Smith, Reverend Tim Pullin and Reverend Cliff Hannah officiating. Burial will follow at New Cruso Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Wells Funeral Home of Canton. At other times, the family will be at the home of Dane and Linda Smith, 440 Mulberry St., Clyde. Pallbearers will be John Speed, Patrick James, Brett Trull, Dan Webster, Scott Foster, and Larry Putnam. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Clyde Davita Dialysis Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rusty Trull Family and Medical Expense Fund located at the Waynesville branch of the Mountain Credit Union.
