Charlie Garner

Canton – Charlie Garner, age 64, of Brian Drive, died Friday, January 01, 2010 at his residence. A native of Conroe, TX, he was a son of Grace Sutton Garner and the late William Garner. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Setzer; and a brother, James Garner. He was a United States Army veteran having in Vietnam and was employed with Champion International for more than 28 years. Charlie enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing, with his four dogs. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 25 years, Rickie Jean Holland Garner; two sons, Brian Charles Garner and step-son, Brian Dennis Hill, all of Canton; two brothers-in-law, Mark Cody of Clyde, and William Holland of MS; a sister, Louise Gillett of Waynesville; a brother, Horace Garner and his wife, Carolyn, of Canton; and two grandchildren, Theresa and Rickey Hill.
