Cheryl Roten

Waynesville, Cheryl Ann Ledford Roten, age 65, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at her residence. A native of Portsmouth New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Neal David and Gladys Emma Ricker Ledford. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack C. Roten; a daughter, Desiree Roten; and a brother, Neal David Ledford, Jr. Cheryl loved spending time with her grandchildren and entertaining and also enjoyed playing bingo and watching television. Cheryl is survived by a daughter, Jamie Helms (Thomas); her sons, Jack Roten, Jr (Caroline) and David Roten; four sisters, Patricia DeWitt, Margaret Jones, Joy McFarland (Mike) and Carol Bolden (Gary); five grandchildren, Jackson, Avery, Sadie and Dillon Roten and Carrie Yost (Michael); two great-grandchildren, Thomas and Scarlett Yost; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Billy Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
