Christine Eytcheson

Hot Springs-Christine Donna Parker Baxley Eytcheson, age 79, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, August 19, 2006 She was a native of Shelby County, KY and was the daughter of Lewis and Mae Tipton Parker. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lusk Chapel Baptist Church. She was also a long time volunteer at the Veteran's Hospital in Peru, IN, and she enjoyed working crossword puzzles and gardening. She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Dowling and her husband, Robert of Hot Springs, Linda Williamson of Columbus, OH, Deborah Carpenter and her husband, Donald of Batavia, OH; two sons, Steven A. Baxley and Donald G. Baxley, both of Jacksonville, FL; six sisters, Iva, Grace, Mary, Ruth, Virginia and Nora; one brother, Kenneth; two sisters-in-law, Evelyn and Jeanette; one brother-in-law, Bob; five grandchildren, Cristina, Viviana, Katie, Timmy and Tommy; three great-grandchildren, Victoria, Valentina and Catalina. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 19, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Waynesville with the Reverend Scott Dotson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Lusk Chapel Baptist Church, 16575 NC 209, Hot springs, NC 28743.
