Christine Worley

Canton - Christine Betty Worley, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home.

A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late John Miller and Margaret Penley Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Bronson Worley; a son, Bill Worley; and a brother, Bill Miller. Christine enjoyed gardening, cooking, and also liked to color.

She is survived by two daughters, Marchetta W. Hensley and her husband, Jim, of Canton and Janet W. Rickman of Canton; seven grandchildren, Josh, Jeremy, Brooke, Heather, Leah, Luke, and Daniel; and four great-grandchildren, Rylan, Amelia, Weston, and Taylor.

Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2017 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Doug Guy and Reverend Donnie Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford-Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
