Claire Johns

Claire Ann Poirier Johns, 55, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away October 20th, 2013. She was born on April 4th, 1958, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Robert M. Poirier and Carol C. Poirier, and raised in Asheville, NC.
She is survived by her husband Thomas Johns; her children Erica, Jennifer, Angela, and Michael; and her brother Robert J. Poirier.
She was a graduate of Asheville High School, Class of 1976, and received her degree in Business Administration from Cecil's Business College in Asheville.
She is and always will be remembered as a wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend to all the lives she touched.
She will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler, with a Funeral Service at 11am, on Saturday, October 26th, at the Forest Lawn Chapel of Faith, with Father Boyd from the Basilica of Saint Lawrence officiating.
Claire was a thirteen year survivor of breast cancer, so in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in her name to the Susan G. Komen foundation.
