CLARA SISK PARTON

Waynesville-Clara Sisk Parton, age 80, died Sunday, April 13, 2003 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Mack and Belle Guy Sisk. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie E. Parton, Sr. who died in 1971 and two brothers, Ralph and Jack Sisk.

She is survived by a daughter, Judith Ann Clontz, of Waynesville; a son, Clarlie E. Parton, Jr. of Waynesville; a sister, Ollie Caldwell, of Bridgeton, New Jersey; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Billy Ketchersid and Reverend G. W. Jameson officiating. Burial will follow at Sunburst Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Bobby and Alan Clontz, Lonnie and Eric Johnson, Mat Star, and Charles Phillips.
