Waynesville, Cleo Stiles Dockery, age 89, of the Ratcliffe Cove Community, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2014 at Autumn Care. A native of Murphy, she was the daughter of the late R.T. and Janie Carroll Stiles and was also preceded in death by her husband, Wayne N. Dockery; a son, Donald Wayne Dockery; five sisters; and three brothers. She was a 1944 graduate of Murphy High School and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Dockery was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was fondly known as "Nanny." She loved working in her yard, gardening, and tending to her flower beds. Cleo is survived by a son, Reverend Dan Dockery (Donna) of Carrollton, Georgia; a sister, Margie Ashe (Vernon) of Locust Grove, Georgia; three grandchildren, Lori Redding (Kevin) of Greensboro, North Carolina, Jonathan Dockery of Carrollton, Georgia, and David Dockery (Maegan) of Rome, Georgia; and two great-grandchildren, Boone and Molly Ruth Redding. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Greg Metcalf and Reverend Dan Dockery officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan and David Dockery, Kevin Redding, David Angel, and Kevin and Keith Ledford. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Gideon International, P.O.
