Clifford Hall

Waynesville-Clifford Alex "Cliff" Hall, age 61, of 49 Partridge Circle, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2005. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Alex and Lonnie Carver Hall. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Louise Rathbone. He was employed by H.T. Hackney as a warehouse stockman for 39 years. He was a US Army veteran and was a member of VFW Post 5202 and American Legion Post 47. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and digging ramps. He is survived by two sons, David Hall and his wife, Sandra, of Waynesville and Brian Hall and his wife, Tonya, of Gainesville, GA; two sisters and two brothers, Myrtle Mills and Glady Beck and Dennis and Kenneth Hall, all of Waynesville; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 5202 and American Legion Post 47. Serving as pallbearers will be Dennis, David, and Nathan Hall, Lee McMahan, Shuford Mills, and David Dick. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
