Colby Pressley

Colby Lloyd Pressley, age 34, died Saturday, April 18, 2009, at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, he was the son of Debra Boydston Rogers and the late Donald Ray Pressley. He was also preceded in death by an uncle, David Pressley; and his maternal grandfather, Lloyd Boydston. He was a member of North Canton Baptist Church. Colby loved racing motorcycles, the outdoors, and especially fishing. In addition to his mother and her husband, Kevin Rogers, he is survived by his wife, Carla Stanley Pressley; two sons, Cayce and Carter Pressley of the home; paternal grandparents, Ray and Ruby Pressley; and maternal grandparents, Herb and Hilda Watts. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 19, 2009, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Mark Caldwell officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Canton Baptist Church Building Fund, 735 North Canton Road, Canton, NC 28716.
