Colleen Holbert

Waynesville, Colleen Danielle Holbert, age 30, passed away, Friday, April 6, 2012. She was a native of Marathon, FL in the Florida Keys. She was the daughter of Kenneth and Pamela Holbert of Marathon, FL. Colleen enjoyed her job as a beautician at Adorabella in Waynesville, where she was an expert with hair and nails. She loved planning parties, dancing, and music. Colleen's life revolved around her daughter Kayla. Through her long battle with Pulmonary Hypertension, Kayla and George Brewer, her fiancé, were forever her rock and constant inspiration. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter Kayla Brinson of Marathon, FL; her loving sister, Stephanie Holbert of Marathon, FL; maternal grandparents, William "Bill" and Jane Daniels of Waynesville, NC; caregiver and fiancé, George Brewer of Asheville, NC; two aunts, LuAnn Paul of Waynesville, NC and Debbie Daniels of Marathon, FL; two uncles, Ben Daniels and Bill Daniels and his wife Michael, all of Marathon, FL; several cousins and a loving loyal companion, Poncho, her small Chihwinnie. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the Garrett-Hillcrest Mausoleum. The family will receive friends following the service.
