Connie Surrett

Connie Elizabeth King Surrett, 89, of Candler, passed away Saturday, December 17th. A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Frank P. and Lola Melinda King.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Furman Surrett; daughters, Alice Marie Long and Barbara Jean Holder; grandson Kenneth 'Randy' Calloway and several siblings.
She is survived by her son, Roger Surrett and wife, Vivian and daughter, Kellie Austin and husband, Rick; 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 22nd in the Chapel of Faith at Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn with Rev. Harold Webb officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
