Daisy Goodnough

Goochland, Virginia, Daisy Shepard Goodnough, age 93, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Envoy at the Meadows, Goochland, Virginia. A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Ollie Mason Shepard. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Wayne Goodnough; four sisters; and one brother. Daisy is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Ott, of Louisa, Virginia, Joyce Baldwin (Larry), of Denver, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Howard Wall (Diane), of Louisa, Virginia and Kristin Hasen (Donnie), of Denver, North Carolina; one great-granddaughter, Rikki Messere (Steven), of Gordonsville, Virginia; and two great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home in Waynesville.
