(828) 456-3535 Fax: (828) 456-3550 Danny Catignani Maggie Valley-Daniel Al Catignani, Jr., 67 of Maggie Valley died Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Mt. Vernon, New York and a former resident of Bedford Hills, NY. He had resided in Haywood County for two years. He was the son of the late Daniel Al and Anna Lucchetti Catignani. He was a butcher and the owner of Taste of Italy in Waynesville. He was an Army veteran serving in Germany. Surviving are two daughters, Karen Kirby and her husband Jeff of Lake Junaluska and Janet Donadio and her husband John of Hickory, N.C., two sisters, Phyllis Regina of Deltona, FL and Nancy Porter of New Port Richey, FL, a brother, Johnny Catalina of Yonkers, NY, and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 18th at Long's Chapel United Methodist Church with Reverend Woody Adams Officiating. The family will receive friends following. Memorials may be made to The Children's Ministry at Long's Chapel United Methodist Church at P. O. Box 459 Lake Junaluska, NC 28745
