David Brown

Canton – David Delano Brown, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at his residence. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Cowman and Minnie Hardin Brown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wilene Brown; two sons, Tim Brown and David Brown, Jr; and one brother, Howard Brown. David is survived by one daughter, Phoebe Pace and her husband, "Dooker," of Canton; two sons, Danny Brown and his wife, Debbie, of Waynesville and Eric Brown and his wife, Karen, of Boiling Springs, SC; eight grandchildren, Danielle Rogers, Adam Brown, Katie Allison, Mary Hannah, Caleb and Allie Pace, and Dylan and Dawson Brown; and three great-grandchildren, Chloe, Dean and Elijah. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2015 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Matthew Carver and Reverend Steven Pressley officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
