David Brown, Jr.

David Delano Brown, Jr. - age 41 died Monday, January 1, 2007, at Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem. He was a native of Haywood County and the son of David Brown, Sr. and the late Wilene Mathews Brown. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Charles Brown. David loved to be up the river either relaxing or fishing with his boys. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Shannon Brown of Canton; two sons, Dylan and Dawson Brown of Canton; a sister, Phoebe Brown Pace and her husband, Dooker, of Canton; two brothers, Danny Howard Brown and his wife, Debbie, of Waynesville and Eric Brown and his wife, Karen, of Boiling Springs, SC. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2007, at the Canton chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Dooker Pace and Reverend Donnie Henson officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends following the service at Beulah Baptist Church. At other times, the family will be at the residence of his father.
