David Grantham

Waynesville, David L. Grantham, age 58, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Mission Hospital. Born in Babson Park, Florida, he was the son of Cal and Margaret Pack Grantham. David grew up in Orlando, Florida and graduated from Edgewater High School. He was active in Little League and was the pitcher of each team from the Mighty Mites thru the Pony League. David loved the Lord and claimed Him as his Savior at the age of twelve and joined Killarney Baptist Church. Throughout his life, he was an avid sports fan. His favorite baseball team was the Atlanta Braves and also loved the Miami Dolphins. David moved to Waynesville in 2011 to be closer to his parents as well as the rest of his family. In addition to his parents, he is survived by four brothers, Terry, Kerry, Daniel and Ande Grantham. David also leaves behind his sweet dog, "Katie Joy" that he loved dearly. David loved and cherished his entire family and will be greatly missed by all. Private services were held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SARGE'S Animal Rescue Foundation, P.O.
